Last year, as Principal Partner of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras

We turned ATMs into...

And
this year...

They're back!

Mardi Groove

What would Mardi Gras be without dancing? People come to Sydney from all over Australia, and all over the world, to celebrate diversity and party for Mardi Gras. And the heart of that party is Oxford Street where you’ll find this GAYTM. Shake it baby and show your support for inclusion.

Bat Your Lashes

Glitter, liner and lashes. Mistresses of illusion, a drag queen’s make up accentuates and plays up the drama. But there’s more to them than meets the eye as drag queens have played a serious role in LGBTI activism, bringing the gay struggle for equality to the mainstream. The eyes say, “I’m looking at you” and “Look at me “ - all at the same time.

Full Throttle

Here we celebrate Dykes on Bikes. What started as the vision of a few strong-minded women has evolved into a very successful community based group. In 2015, 200 riders will lead the Mardi Gras parade as a symbol of pride, liberation and empowerment. Ride with Pride!

Bear With Flair

A playful depiction of a well-loved sub-culture, bears have a long history of inclusion within their community. The bears do care!

Woof Doof

Oh how we love our furry friends. Dogs of all shapes and sizes have a very special role in the lives of many members of the LGBTI community. In fact, one of Fair Day’s much-loved events, Doggywood, celebrates these cherished companions. That’s paw-some!

Super Duper Heroes

These caped crusaders hide their true identities. We say let your mask drop, you’re super just the way you are. But it is Mardi Gras, so costumes are welcome!

ANZ Mardi Gras Float

As a proud sponsor since 2007, ANZ has joined the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade every year. Each time we decorate our float and parade marchers using a different theme. In 2014, ‘Hats off to Diversity’ saw the parade marchers wearing top hats and tuxedo-style costumes to celebrate diversity and inclusion.

Here is what we did last year.

ANZ Partnerships

The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras is a non-for profit member based organisation responsible for putting together the annual Parade and Festival, as well as a number of other events throughout the year. ANZ has been a major sponsor since 2007, this year is the second as Principal Partner. Next year we will continue as Principal Partner, celebrating our 10-year anniversary supporting the event. Twenty10 works with and supports young people of diverse genders, sexes and sexualities, helping them to reach their potential. Last year, ANZ donated all ATM transaction fees from our GAYTMs to this community based, non-profit organisation and will do the same this year.

The charitable organisation will be selected by ANZ in consultation with Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras. The non-ANZ ATM fees from the GAYTMs in Sydney will be donated for the period of the GAYTM campaign 23 February 2015 to 14 March 2015 to Twenty10. Donations exclude fees that may be charged by other Financial Institutions to non-ANZ cardholders for using an ANZ ATM.
